Wedding Favors

I'm in Ohio this week for my son's wedding on Saturday. We're enjoying beautiful fall weather. Just praying it will hold out through the weekend.

I made a quick prototype of a little favor for the wedding guests. My almost daughter-in-law liked them so I'm making 30 of them today. She's adding a big leaf shaped cookie underneath and then we will tie a bow around it all.

I'm LOVING the new Curvy Keepsake die. So many cute ideas. What have you made using it?

Fall Gift Wrap

Used some new Stampin' Up! products to wrap my almost daughter-in-law's birthday present on Saturday.

The box was quick and easy with the Gift Box Punch Board and a piece of Under the Tree Specialty Designer Paper. Then I wrapped some Burlap Ribbon around and tied on some of the new Autumn Wooden Elements using a piece of Linen Thread.

Check back tomorrow for another cute project I'm working on while here in Ohio for my son's wedding.

Pop Up Butterfly Card

I received 25 swap cards when I went on the Stampin' Up! incentive trip cruise in May.  All were beautiful but one in particular was spectacular.

Pretty, right?  But the card front isn't the best part.  Look what was inside!

I will be teaching this card at my advanced stampers group on Friday afternoon.  If you live in The Villages and want to make it, CLICK HERE for the details and the supplies to bring.

Kraft Journal

This was one of our Mini Make & Takes this morning.

Stampin' Up! Kinda Eclectic

We had our first Make & Take session at convention yesterday. We used the new stamp set Kinda Eclectic, which was in our registration packet.

We made two versions of the card. The first is really cute but then we made a stepped up version that was even cuter!

What do you think?  I'm thinking I want to step it up even more!  Want to make it in a class sometime next month?

Sweet Sentiments at Peterbrooke Chocolatier

I'm so excited to announce my newest venture in stamping.  I'm offering a line of handmade greeting cards called Sweet Sentiments.  These are for sale exclusively at Peterbrooke Chocolatier at Lake Sumter Landing here in The Villages.

My initial offering includes 130 cards.  There are cards for all occasions along with an assortment of chocolate-themed cards.

I'm so pleased to enter into this venture with Veronica, the owner of the shop.  She's created such a wonderful environment to showcase her fabulous chocolate treats.

Do you need a special gift for someone...birthday, thank you, thinking of you?  If so, visit Peterbrooke Chocolatier in Sumter Landing for the perfect treat.  And check out my card rack while you're there.

Display Boards from Cruise

Before I left on the cruise I showed you my swap card that I was taking.  If you were swapping you had to take 26 cards (25 for the swap and an extra one for Stampin' Up!).  They posted all of these on display boards.  This way we could see all of the swap cards since we only received 25 swaps back.  I went down to the Hospitality Room early on Saturday when it wasn't busy and took pictures of every card.

Stampin' Up! Cruise Swap Card

I'm headed to Fort Lauderdale this morning, ready to sail away tomorrow with my daughter Leah.  Thank you to Stampin' Up! and all my great customers and downline for making this happen.  We are beyond excited.  My daughter is a SAHM with two boys of her own and two little ones through foster care.  I'm so happy to be able to give her this getaway vacation.

While on the ship I'll be participating in a card swap.  Everyone takes 25 cards and Stampin' Up! will swap them out for us with 25 other demos.  I can't wait to see the cards I receive!

I went with a beachy themed card for my swap in those great Caribbean colors from the In-Colors that we here in Florida love so much.

Swap Cards from Catalog Premiere

Did you see yesterday's post showing all the fun we had at the catalog premiere?  One of the best parts was the card swap we had at dinner before the event.  Gorgeous cards from everyone.

My card was the one that I am taking on the cruise for the swap that Stampin' Up! is hosting.  I'll show it to you tomorrow with all the details.  Think Caribbean!

Circle Card Mojo 295

A great way to start when creating a card is to find a sketch that you like.  One of my favorite sites for this is the Mojo Monday blog.  They have hundreds of sketches to choose from.  For today's card I was intrigued by a sketch from last May.  It's Mojo 295.  The sketch is for a round or square card.

I decided to use the round card and came up with this card.

Easter Punch Art Treat Bags

When I saw these adorable Easter treats on Pinterest I just knew I had to make them for my grandsons.  They were designed by Connie Stewart of Simply Simple Stamping.  Click HERE to see her post about these adorable treats.  My good friend came to visit earlier this month and I sat and made these for her grandsons and mine while she worked on some cards for friends.  I'm putting mine in the mail today.  Yummy treats for Sam and Joel.

Put the candy in a cello bag, staple to the back of the topper, then apply Sticky Strip to seal the front.
