I saw this braid made from the Chevron Border Punch on a card posted on Stampin' Connection, the demo only website, by demo Mary Cavalier. I thought this might be a great card for my November card classes. But even though it's not terribly difficult it does take some trimming and fussing to get it just right. Not a bad card for one person to make but I wasn't up for having 14 people making it in one morning! So here's my card for all of you to view and perhaps make yourself.
Supplies (all Stampin' Up!)
Stamp Sets: Stippled Blossoms, Blessings from Heaven
Card Stock: Island Indigo, Pool Party, Very Vanilla
Ink: Island Indigo, Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz
Tools: Chevron Border Punch
Quick instructions for the braid. Punch the front Very Vanilla piece along one edge using the Chevron Border Punch. Then punch a strip of Island Indigo with the punch. Slide the two together to make the braid.
This card is being mailed to a very special friend that has been fighting to recover from a serious stroke 2-1/2 weeks ago. Just want her to know that I pray for her every day. Love you Nancy!

Super beautiful, Carol. I can see having 14 make this would send one over the cliff.
