To celebrate my freedom today I'm in my stamp studio doing what I love to do! It's been awhile since I've created anything new so I needed a boost. And I turned to the Mojo Monday sketch to help with that. I already knew that I wanted to focus on Easter this week so I started with the Blessed Easter stamp set. I think it worked pretty well with the sketch for today.
Here's the sketch (Mojo 341). Click HERE to go to the Mojo Monday blog.
I used Wisteria Wonder and Perfect Plum on the tulips and Pistachio Pudding and Pear Pizzazz on the leaves. I can't wait to get the new Blendabilities markers with three shades of color. Won't we have fun then?
Here are the supplies used on today's card.

Really really nice card, Carol. I just mailed all my Easter cards today.
ReplyDeleteSee you soon, I hope.
Congrats on being FINISHED!!!! No more tax returns. Yippee.
This is gorgeous! I love how you used your stamp to get more out of it. The coloring on the tulips is lovely, and I love the ribbon! Great card!
ReplyDeleteOMIGOSH, Carol Seitz, you have officially changed my life for the better....I saw the "try it free" link to stampinbuddy and WOW!!! I have always wanted to put the link photo with link thingies on my blog (on the rare occasions that I post) and now....easy peasy!!! Thanks so much!!! And don't get me wrong, I loved the card too...very pretty and welcome back to stamping!!! I am mailing out my checks to Uncle Sam today...dropping off the e-forms at the CPA to be filed. ugh...not fun but now it's over for another year. And THIS year I will keep my reports and info up to date on a monthly basis...yes, I really will. Try, that is! ;-) Maybe you can remind me??? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI really like the color combination on this card. Very peaceful.
